Introduction
Another Green World is a project by artist Igor Grubic, conceived as an evolving open-air exhibition. It was first organized by Fondazione Morra and curated by Adriana Rispoli in Naples’ historic Villa Comunale (2021), later presented at Nome Gallery, Berlin (2023), and included in Gestures of Activation – Works in Public Space, curated by Branka Bencic, Kora Girin, and Sabina Salamon at MMSU, Rijeka (2024).
The Naples iteration featured 50 interventions on palm trees, statues, and neoclassical architecture, along with a performance dedicated to Dante, embodying Grubić’s distinctive blend of political and poetic expression. Through this form of participatory activism, the project transformed the garden into a monumental platform for engaging civil society, addressing pressing contemporary urgencies – renewed connections to nature, community, solidarity, and collective responsibility – heightened during the pandemic.
In subsequent iterations, Another Green World has been presented through photographic documentation, expanding its reach beyond site-specific interventions. Future iterations are planned in Skopje (2025), Maribor (2026), and MSU Zagreb (2027), continuing the project’s engagement with urban spaces and their social, historical, and ecological dimensions.

Climate Policy
For Another Green World, a climate-conscious approach is embedded in its core concept, addressing the relationship between urban environments and ecological regeneration. The project engages with climate issues in several ways. By situating interventions in urban gardens and historic sites, the project highlights the role of green spaces in mitigating the effects of urbanization and climate change. The interventions, especially those in Naples' Villa Comunale, reference environmental degradation, and the urgent need for ecological restoration. Later presentations of the project (Berlin, Rijeka) frame these interventions as records of environmental change, emphasizing the impact of human activity on natural landscapes.

Emissions Calculation Methodology
The emissions calculation for Another Green World was conducted using the Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC) Carbon Calculator. This methodology assesses the project's carbon footprint by analyzing key factors such as transportation, materials, energy consumption, and logistics, helping to inform more sustainable practices in future iterations.
